Drillmar encounters pay

Georgetown, Cayman Islands - November 13, 2007

The Carrin Patman #1 development well in North Francitas Field in Jackson County, Texas reached a total depth of 9,000 feet on November 9th 2007. Over 6 feet of net pay was encountered.  An independent engineering firm has estimated the remaining reserves for the field to apprx 3 BCF. The well is currently waiting on completion. Drillmar Energy Inc has a 50 percent working interest and operates the well. This well is the first well drilled with the Company’s new Casing Drilling Rig, “Vitesse”. “We are pleased that our first well encountered pay and that the Vitesse Rig is performing per its specifications” stated CEO and Chairman Ivar Siem.

The Vitesse rig will move to a nearby location in Refugio County to drill the Rooke Ranch Propsect. This well is the first well to be drilled in a generating program where Drillmar participates with 15% and is the operator. Thereafter, the rig will be going to the Company’s existing properties in St. Martinville field, Louisiana to drill up to two wells or return to North Francitas for additional drilling.

The T. Borque #1 well in St Gabriel Field in Iberville Parish, Louisiana originally scheduled to be drilled in November has been rescheduled for December because the drilling contractor Turnkey E&P has amended its drilling schedule.

“These next two wells are exploratory wells and as such bear higher risk than most of our other wells. However, we are taking a smaller interest or have promoted partners to reduce our risk and we are excited about the significant upside potential in these two wells” stated David McCarver, Chief Operating Officer.
