Services
Drillmar has assisted or managed several operations or provided other consulting and engineering services for Apache, Shell, BP, PDVSA, Pemex and others.

Apache: The Apache project commenced in May 2003. Drillmar worked with Apache’s reservoir, geological and production engineering groups to justify a pilot project, which has been subsequently expanded to a full field redevelopment.  Drillmar is acting as Apache’s engineering and rig operational arm for this project and has drilled +50 wells.

PDVSA Venezuela: Drillmar has worked with PDVSA since 2001.  The Company has assisted in the implementation of PDVSA’s restructuring into multi-disciplined asset teams.  In 2002, PDVSA contracted Drillmar to assist them in developing a 20-year asset management strategy for lake Maracaibo.  This strategy included the revitalization or drilling of over 6,000 wells.  This 10-month joint effort between PDVSA and Drillmar resulted in the design of a jack-up MPU (Drillmar / Huisman patents pending).  This self-propelled jack up integrates casing drilling, managed pressure, and coil tubing technologies.

PEMEX: The Company assisted PEMEX in defining and implementing development programs for its core professions like engineering and geosciences.

Repsol Latin America & Caribbean Region: Drillmar has been providing selected consulting and drilling and production engineering training services for Repsol since 2003.

BP Trinidad & Tobago (BPTT): Drillmar provided engineering and asset management consulting to BP in Trinidad in 2001-2003.

Shell: Drillmar has provided engineering and asset management consulting to Shell. The objective was to identify and analyze economically the best technical solution with respect to design, manufacture of drilling rig and to generate the most viable strategy to build or contract the equipment.
